Conan’s new look for Autism research

Oh, Conan. Did you happen to catch his new look Thursday night? Braids, cornrows, sprayed-on orange tan. Well, we assume it’s sprayed on, but his name is O’Brien and he’s from Brookline so it seems a safe bet. It’s all for a good cause, as the talk-show host raised $100,000 for autism research. (He tweeted a photo and said: “Tonight on my show, I do this for charity. I’ve just been told it’s permanent.” His guest, Simon Baker, from “The Mentalist,” seemed completely flummoxed by the look, and not too happy about it. Who can blame him. Conan looked like Neytiri from Avatar. Or maybe Bo Derek in “10.”
