Hurricane Sandy didn’t stop Lovin’ Spoonfuls from having its Ultimate Tailgate Party on Sunday night. Jenny Johnson , of “TV Diner,” emceed the event, which drew 400 supporters, who huddled under a tent at Sam’s restaurant at Louis. Chefs who cooked for the cause included Harvest’s Mary Dumont , Asia Mei of Sam’s, Clio’s Douglas Rodrigues , and Asta’s Alex Crabb . Lovin’ Spoonfuls aims to get perishable and unserved foods to shelters and people in need.
