Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin hosted a private screening of Steven Spielberg’s new film, “Lincoln,” at the Revere Hotel Sunday, and a few of her well-known friends were on the guest list. The film, which stars Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis as the 16th president, is based in part on Goodwin’s book, “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln.”
