Way back in May, homeboys Matt Damon , Ben Affleck , and John Krasinski hosted a $1,000-per-person fund-raiser in Los Angeles for Democratic senate candidate Elizabeth Warren . Well, Damon’s support for Warren was evident again over the weekend in a barrage of robocalls to Bay State voters in advance of Tuesday’s election. While such calls are generally viewed as annoying at this stage, it seems some voters stayed on the phone because the “Good Will Hunting” guy was on the other end. Some, we’re told, saved the message, while others were just amused. Wrote one wag on Facebook: “Did Matt Damon drunk dial anyone else today?” Meanwhile, Warren’s opponent, incumbent Republican Scott Brown, also had a VIP making robocalls this weekend: Pat Boone .
