Museum of Fine Arts director Malcolm Rogers (right) has taken the show on the road to China, where an exhibition of Chinese masterpieces has opened at the Shanghai Museum. The show, “Masterpieces of Song and Yuan Paintings from American Collections,” includes no fewer than 13 works from the MFA. Joining Rogers on the trip are Jane Portal, of the MFA’s department of arts of Asia, Oceania, and Africa, and Nancy Berliner, the museum’s Wu Tang curator of Chinese art.
