Susanna Hoffs, who was just in town for a show in Natick, was hanging out at the Verve, Crowne Plaza over the weekend. ... Boston-bred TV queen Mindy Kaling (right), who plays an OB/GYN on “The Mindy Project,” honored Jessica Alba at the inaugural Baby2Baby Gala in Culver City, Calif., Saturday night. ... Looks like Larry David’s HBO movie “Clear History” has finished filming in Massachusetts. Director Greg Mottola tweeted Saturday, “And that’s a wrap on  ‘Clear History,’ ” adding, “Back in NYC, post-Sandy, very happy to be home (and see lights downtown).” The comedy, which also stars Jon Hamm and Kate Hudson, filmed north of Boston last week.

Facing reality
