Looking for a little nonpartisan, post-election balm for the soul? Mike’s City Diner’s Jay Hajj and a slew of other chefs are coming together Wednesday to raise some dough for the Red Cross in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. Joining Jay at Mike’s will be Ken Oringer, Jamie Bissonnette, Ming Tsai, and others, fixing a feast of white truffles, oysters, foie gras, and duck and lobster. Space is limited to 50 people, however, and the cost is $500 per
person.
