It’s hard not to feel badly for Antoine Walker, the former Celtic forward who famously blew through $110 million and declared bankruptcy. Walker, who went belly up as a result of bad real estate deals, a mountain of gambling debts, and a big heart — he was very generous with his money — will be at CURE Lounge Friday. (We’re not sure what the occasion is, but he’s not playing basketball anymore so he’s available.) The hastily arranged party is being hosted by DJ Pup Dog from the 94.5 morning show. Walker’s sad story was featured a few weeks ago in the ESPN documentary “Broke,” about the catastrophic financial failures of professional athletes. The onetime boyfriend of Chad Johnson’s ex Evelyn Lozada, Walker was a first-round pick of the Celtics in ’90s, and won the NBA Championship with the Miami Heat in 2006. Four years later, he was bankrupt, with $12.7 million in debts and just $4.3 million in assets.
