Chef Ken Oringer and some of his foodie friends cooked up a storm Wednesday to benefit the Red Cross in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The $500-per-person benefit for the victims of last week’s superstorm combined the culinary skills of Oringer and chefs Jay Hajj of Mike’s City Diner, Toro’s Jamie Bissonnette, and Blue Ginger’s Ming Tsai, and it attracted a few familiar faces to the table, including Patrick Lyons, Corinne Grousbeck, Gordon Wilcox, and Betsy Egan .
