American Repertory Theater artistic director Diane Paulus brought some of her “Pippin” cast from Cambridge to New York on Wednesday night for a party at the home of ART supporters Julia Pershan and Jonathan Cohen. Stars Patina Miller and Matthew James Thomas performed during the festivities. Guests included the show’s composer Stephen Schwartz and board member and ART Institute alumnus Kevin Costin. . . . In other local theater news, we’ve been told that the cast for the third installment of Robert Brustein’s trilogy about Shakespeare, “The Last Will,” includes Brooke Adams, who starred with her husband, Tony Shalhoub, in the ART’s 1997 production of “The Old Neighborhood.” (Shalhoub was Brustein’s student at the Yale School of Drama.) “The Last Will,” which is a collaboration between Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Suffolk University, will debut Feb. 13.
