New Red Sox skipper John Farrell was honored at the American Ireland Fund’s annual Boston Dinner Gala at the Westin Boston Waterfront this week. The event, which raised nearly $2.5 million for the Worldwide Ireland Funds Promising Ireland Campaign supporting nonprofits across Ireland, was chaired by Ron O’Hanley of Fidelity Investments with help from Douglas Donahue of Brown Brothers Harriman & Company, Suffolk Construction’s John Fish, EMC’s William Teuber, and Putnam Investments’s Bob Reynolds.
