Gronk cashes in with $1.6m Florida crash pad

We know where Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will be bunking on the weekends when he’s not busy on the football field. Miami-based GossipExtra.com reports that Gronk has purchased a waterfront pad in Tampa for $1.6 million — and, according to records, he paid cash for the place. The hard-partying pass-catcher bought the four-bedroom, five-bathroom Mediterranean-style villa not long after he signed a $55-million contract extension with the Pats. According to MLS listings, the house, in the gated Westshore Yacht Club, can accommodate three parties simultaneously in separate outdoors areas (including, of course, an infinity pool.) The deluxe crash pad also includes a world-class sound system that can play music indoors and outdoors with the same digital quality. Gronk, of course, is out with a broken arm so he’s got plenty of time to decorate his new place.
