Denmark’s Royal Theater says it has canceled a play about Amy Winehouse after the Danish copyright agency withdrew permission to use the late singer’s music. It was not immediately clear why the Koda agency canceled the permit to use the music in the production that was to open Jan. 30 in Copenhagen. The play, ‘‘Amy,’’ was based on interviews, concerts, Winehouse’s letters, and newspaper articles.
