Steven Tyler apologizes to Nicki Minaj

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler has apologized for talking trash about new “American Idol” judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey . The flamboyant frontman and former “Idol” judge had said Minaj would probably send Bob Dylan back “to the cornfield” if he auditioned for the show. That prompted Minaj to call Tyler a racist. “I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki,” Tyler told eTalk, a Canadian entertainment show. “But I am the farthest from [being a racist]. I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don’t know where she got that out of me saying I’m not sure how she would’ve judged Bob Dylan.”
