More than 200 supporters of the Massachusetts Historical Society gathered at the Harvard Club on Friday for Cocktails With Clio, a benefit for MHS named after the muse of history: Clio. The event featured a talk with Harvard’s Henry Louis Gates Jr. , of the PBS series “Finding Your Roots,” who is also on the society’s Council of Overseers.
