RFK Center’s holiday gala honors Taylor Swift

Singer Taylor Swift was spotted with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles in Central Park over the weekend, but she was expected to be back with the Kennedys on Monday night at the Robert F. Kennedy Center’s Ripple of Hope Holiday Gala. Swift was the honoree at the event, which was emceed by Alec Baldwin. At press time, it wasn’t clear whether Swift’s ex Conor Kennedy would be in the audience. . . . We have to admit that there are some pretty sweet items in this year’s Ripple of Hope Holiday Auction, which runs online through Dec. 11. Items include a stay at Ben Barnes’s house on Nantucket; a Hyannis Port visit and sailing outing with Ted Kennedy Jr. and Ethel Kennedy; and the opportunity to have former Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine host your kid’s birthday party at his clinic in Stamford, Conn. As of Monday afternoon, there were two bids on the latter item. The highest was $550. The estimated value of the prize was $3,000.
