Celebrated French chef Jacques Pépin (above) dropped by the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center at BU this week to check out its collection of his papers and other personal effects. On display at the Gotlieb Center, the collection includes drafts of the chef’s articles, essays, and recipe books, as well as his correspondence with famous friends such as Julia Child and Craig Claiborne. The Gotlieb Center houses the papers of everyone from Tyne Daly and Willem Dafoe to Alistair Cooke and Martin Luther King Jr.
