WCVB meteorologist J.C. Monahan read Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” to kids at the new Home for Little Wanderers Toy Room at Legacy Place on Wednesday afternoon. All of the children in this photo brought a toy to donate to the home. (J.C. brought her own daughter, Catherine, as her special guest.) There’s another storytime in the toy room scheduled for Friday at 3:30. It is open to the public — just make sure your child brings a toy for donation. The special reader will be Peter H. Reynolds, author and illustrator of “The Dot.”
