If downtown streets looked lively on Christmas Eve, it was probably because of the many annual parties thrown for the folks who don’t celebrate the holiday. At Royale there was the MatzoBall, the annual bash hosted by the Society of Young Jewish Professionals and JDate. Meanwhile, the J Connection hosted “The Chosen Party” for 20- and 30-somethings at Wild Rover, and a separate shindig for revelers 40 and older at McCormick & Schmick’s. “Chosen Party” guests included Josie Kramer of Boston and Charles Turk of Brighton.
