Boston businessman Jim Pallotta (left) of the Raptor Group has been in Florida this week with his Italian soccer team, AS Roma. He announced on Sunday that there will be a new stadium built in Rome for the team, which has been sharing the Stadio Olimpico with its Italian league competitor. Pallotta became majority owner of the AS Roma last year. He made the big announcement (while holding some bubbly) with AS Roma CEO Italo Zanzi (far right) and Luca Parnasi, CEO of the Italian real estate firm Grupo ParsItalia. The new stadium will be ready by the 2016 season.
