The A-list cast of the American Repertory Theater’s production of “The Glass Menagerie” started rehearsals on Wednesday. Celia Keenan-Bolger, who was once Eponine in “Les Misérables” on Broadway and was a Tony nominee for her recent performance in “Peter and the Starcatcher,” plays Laura; ART founding member Cherry Jones, who was on NBC’s “Awake,” is the show’s Amanda Wingfield; Zachary Quinto of “Star Trek” is Tom, Amanda’s son; and Brian J. Smith of “Gossip Girl” is the show’s Gentleman Caller. The group took a moment during their meet-up to pose for a photo with their director, John Tiffany. “The Glass Menagerie” begins its run Feb. 2 and wraps up mid-March. That should be perfect for Quinto, who’ll most likely have to spend much of the spring promoting “Star Trek: Into Darkness,” which comes out in May. Quinto tweeted a picture of the “Glass Menagerie” cast’s coffee mugs on Wednesday evening. Jones’s appears to be the biggest.
