Michelle Obama celebrated her 49th birthday on Thursday with a new look and a new Twitter account. In a bit of a surprise, the first lady’s new haircut features Taylor Swift-like bangs. The first lady’s office posted a picture of Obama’s new ’do on her new Twitter feed showing her meeting at the White House with one of eight citizens named cochairs of President Obama’s inauguration Monday. The last time Michelle Obama was seen in public, earlier this month, her shoulder-length hair was held away from her face by a headband. And about that new Twitter account: She can be followed @FLOTUS (first lady of the United States). (AP)
