Jared Diamond’s a draw

Pulitzer Prize-winning author drew a large crowd to the First Parish Church in Harvard Square, where he spoke about his new book, “The World Until Yesterday: What Can We Learn From Traditional Societies?” Diamond, a professor of geography at UCLA who graduated from Roxbury Latin School and Harvard, won the Pulitzer in ’97 for “Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies.”
