Following a screening of “A Whisper to a Roar,” the new documentary about activists and opposition leaders in authoritarian countries (and what motivates them to risk their lives for democracy), Egyptian activist Esraa Abdel Fattah, Slate journalist Will Dobson, and the film’s director Ben Moses spoke at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Abdel Fattah, whose nickname is “Facebook Girl” for her use of social media to organize a national strike that spurred Egypt’s revolution, is rumored to have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
