Kathleen Edwards plays nice with Bruins fans

Kathleen Edwards lied. Before her show at the Brighton Music Hall Tuesday, the Canadian singer-songwriter posted this note on Facebook: “OK Bruin fans, I’m in Boston tonight playing 90 minutes of hit songs about why your team sucks.” But confronted with a roomful of B’s diehards, Edwards, whose favorite NHL team is the Ottawa Senators, backed off. But she did play “I Make the Dough, You Get the Glory,” which includes a reference to a certain former Bruins tough guy: “I’m a Dodge Sparkle, you’re a Lamborghini/ You’re The Great One, I’m Marty McSorley.”
