A Directors Guild win for Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck wins again. On Saturday, the hometowner picked up the Directors Guild of America Award for outstanding directorial achievement in feature film for “Argo,” beating out big names such as Steven Spielberg and Tom Hooper . Affleck, who was passed over for an Oscar nomination for best director, told the DGA audience in Los Angeles, “I don’t think that this makes me a real director, but I think it means I’m on my way.” The humble Affleck mingled during the night with Lena Dunham (above) who won a DGA Award for the pilot of “Girls.” As you can see, they’re both inked. Dunham has the tattoos, while Affleck’s daughters are still writing on his hands for good luck.
