Jazz musicians and vintage cars wanted

Do you own a sweet ride from the 1960s and ’70s, a car that would look at home, say, on the set of “The French Connection”? If so, Boston Casting wants to talk to you. The casting company needs vintage cars — and their owners — for a feature film due to begin shooting in and around Boston this month. (Boston Casting won’t say so, but we’re told it’s the David O. Russell film starring Oscar winners Christian Bale and Jennifer Lawrence, as well as Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, and Jeremy Renner.) To be considered, e-mail BostonPeriodCars@gmail.com with a photo of your car, including the year, make, model, and color, and a photo of yourself. . . . The company is also looking for jazz musicians to appear as extras in a TV pilot shooting here this month. Specifically, Boston Casting’s Angela Peri is looking for folks who play piano, drums, upright bass, saxophone, and rhythm guitar. Send an e-mail to bostoncastingsubmit@gmail
