“Townie” author Andre Dubus III, National Book Award finalist Sarah Shun-lien Bynum, and poet Tony Hoagland are just a few of the literary names participating in the seventh anniversary celebration of “Literary Death Match” at the Middle East on Friday. The event includes readings, musings from judges, and a look at the LDM TV pilot. . . . Dennis Lehane has signed up to give the keynote speech at Reach Out and Read’s “Read to Succeed” benefit on May 7. . . . Grub Street announced that New Yorker literary critic James Wood will give the keynote address May 5 during its Muse & the Marketplace conference for writers. Amanda Palmer will address the crowd the night before.
