Ryan Landry, best known for leading the Gold Dust Orphans in gender-bending shows such as “Death of a Saleslady,” “Phantom of the Oprah,” and “Mildred Fierce,” introduced a screening of Fritz Lang’s “M” at the Coolidge Corner Theatre on Monday night. Landry’s own adaptation of the classic (which apparently includes puppets) will be performed at the Huntington Theatre Company’s Calderwood Pavilion starting March 29. Members of the production stayed for a panel discussion after the film. Pictured: Landry (right) with costume designer Scott Marino.
