Patrick Hemingway, son of writer Ernest Hemingway, was at the JFK Library Sunday to present this year’s PEN/Hemingway Award to Kevin Powers (right) for his debut novel, “The Yellow Birds.” Irish writer Colm Toibin, whose novels include “Brooklyn” and “The Testament of Mary,” gave the keynote address. The Kennedy Library is the major repository of Ernest Hemingway’s works.
