Late-night host Conan O’Brien staying put at TBS

While NBC sorts out its late-night lineup, replacing Jay Leno with Jimmy Fallon, TBS is sticking with the status quo. The cable channel announced Monday it has extended the contract of Brookline native Conan O’Brien until November 2015. In making the announcement, TBS hyped the host’s rating with young viewers, noting that O’Brien’s audience has the youngest median age in late-night TV: 39.7 this season. Leno’s is 58.1 and Fallon’s is 53.3.
