Gish Jen to help judge National Book Awards

A shout-out to Cambridge writer Gish Jen, who’ll be one of the judges for next fall’s National Book Awards. Jen, an acclaimed novelist who just published her first work of nonfiction, “Tiger Writing,” joins author Charles Baxter , Seattle-based bookseller Rick Simonson, author René Steinke, and New York Times writer Charles McGrath, previously editor of the Book Review, on the panel of judges.
