Konocopia celebrates the life of Boston DJ

The Boylston Street nightclub Machine hosted the second annual Konocopia dance party on Saturday night in honor of Kris Kono, a beloved Boston DJ who died at 46 of complications from cancer in 2011. The night raised money for a scholarship that will go to a woman who attends the Berklee College of Music. Revelers included DJ Mocha, a.k.a Mel Andrade (above), who spun tunes and danced in a Konocopia T-shirt.
