Tom Brady and his supermodel spouse, Gisele Bundchen, accumulate real estate like the rest of us collect pennies. The couple, who just built a $20 million mansion in Los Angeles and are believed to be eyeing a 5.2 acre-lot in Brookline for yet another abode, are apparently shopping for an address in New York City. The New York Post reports that the Pats QB and his wife are looking for a deluxe dwelling in the West Village. What’s odd is that Brady owned — and sold (for a reported $17.5 million) — a sweet spread in New York’s Time Warner Center, and Bundchen owned — and sold (for $4.4 million) — a townhouse in the West Village. The couple, who have two young children, also own a seaside compound in Costa Rica. In Boston, Brady and Bundchen had been living in Brady’s Beacon Street townhouse, but it was sold last year for $9.2 million. A few weeks ago, Brookline’s Zoning Board of Appeals gave Pine Manor College the go-ahead to subdivide a 5.2-acre piece of its property and sell it to be developed as a residence. Brady and Bundchen are believed to be the likely homeowners.
