Bridge Over Troubled Waters held its annual gala at the Four Seasons over the weekend, and the event raised more than $1 million for the agency providing services to homeless and at-risk kids. Legal eagle Bob Popeo was honored and guests included former governor Bill Weld, Larry and Stacey Lucchino, Herb Chambers, Hizzoner Tom Menino, Bob Davis of Highland Capital, former Liberty Mutual chairman Ted Kelly, and Sister Barbara Whelan, who founded the organization 40 years ago.

Correction: An earlier version of this article mischaracterized the relationship between Ted Kelly and Sister Barbara Whalen.
