Noir at the Charles Hotel hosted a viewing party on Sunday night for the two-hour, season 6 premiere of the AMC television show “Mad Men.” Revelers who participated in the night by dressing like Don, Peggy, and the rest of the gang included Rachel Newborn, Amy Cherrix, Matt Gray, Heather Roussi, Cassie Knight, and the Joan-esque Amanda Dugay Forrester of Somerville, who was named best-dressed woman at the party. Forrester, a stylist, told us that her accessories come from her side business, Red Bird Vintage, and the coat and dress are from Artifaktori Vintage on Beacon Hill, where she’s a manager. The prize for best-dressed man went to Andrew Laporte of Marlborough.
