The Huntington Theatre Company released a cast list for the upcoming production of director Mary Zimmerman ’s “The Jungle Book,” produced in association with Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, that will open at the BU Theatre on Sept. 7. The cast includes some Broadway stars, but TV fans will be happy, too. The actor playing Baloo the bear, for instance, is Kevin Carolan , who’s been seen on “Boardwalk Empire” as the barker who calls the Atlantic City tourists to the freak show. Broadway star André De Shields , who has also had his fair share of TV appearances (“Sex and the City,” “Rescue Me”), plays King Louie.
