As expected, the star-studded rock ’n’ roll fund-raiser on behalf of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings sold out in mere minutes Monday. The event, “Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration,” takes place May 30 at the TD Garden and will include four hours of music and comedy from the likes of Aerosmith, Boston, New Kids on the Block, James Taylor and Carole King, the J. Geils Band, Jimmy Buffett, Jason Aldean, Godsmack, Extreme, Dane Cook, and Steven Wright. We’re told the lineup is still taking shape and more acts may be added. Net proceeds from the show will benefit The One Fund Boston.
