As he does every year at this time, Tom Brady followed up his trip to the Kentucky Derby with an appearance at the Costume Institute’s annual gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Brady, in a light blue jacket, and his supermodel spouse, Gisele Bundchen, who channeled her inner punk, were among the many beautiful people at the party, which celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Punk: Chaos to Couture.” We were hoping Brady would trade his suit for a Sid Vicious-style ensemble of jeans, black leather, and a safety pin or two. But, alas, no luck. The gala is the Costume Institute’s main source of annual funding for exhibitions, acquisitions, and capital improvements.
