“Scrubs” star Zach Braff was at Boston College over the weekend for the Baldwin Film Awards, which recognizes the best student-made films and student performances of the year. (The annual event is sponsored by a student group Hollywood Eagles.) Braff, who directed “Garden State,” recently became one of the most recognizable Hollywood personalities to finance a film via Kickstarter. He exceeded his $2 million goal for the project, titled “Wish I Was Here,” raising $2.3 million from 31,000 supporters. . . . Korean pop sensation PSY will speak at Harvard Thursday. The artist best known for the dance hit “Gangnam Style” will talk at an event moderated by professor of Korean History Carter Eckert and including Alex Zahlten, assistant professor of East Asian Languages and Civilizations. . . . Talk-show titan Oprah Winfrey was spotted having breakfast at the Bristol Lounge at the Four Seasons Monday. . . . And there was a rare sighting of Celtic Kevin Garnett out and about.
