Aerosmith will be back in Boston to play the One Fund benefit May 30, but for now Joe Perry is holed up in LA in a house owned by Johnny Depp. The Aerosmith guitarist is working on his memoir with David Ritz, a ghost writer who’s collaborated with the likes of Buddy Guy, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Cornel West, and Marvin Gaye. . . . Secretary of State John Kerry was at Friday’s Bruins game with Charles Hotel owner Dick Friedman, and afterward they joined B’s Hall of Famer Cam Neely for dinner at Scampo. . . . Sox slugger David Ortiz was at Sonsie for dinner and drinks after Saturday’s game. . . . Pats players Rob Ninkovich, Chandler Jones, and Stevan Ridley dined at Strega Waterfront, while Sox starter Ryan Dempster and former Braves pitcher John Smoltz were eating at another table. . . . Sox outfielder Shane Victorino and Pats receiver Julian Edelman were spotted dining at Empire Asian Restaurant & Lounge. . . . And WEEI’s Jen Royle and CSNNE’s Jessica Camerato were hanging out at Red Lantern with a group that included Sox first baseman Mike Napoli.
