Chef Barbara Lynch will write memoir

Famous Boston chef Barbara Lynch, of such restaurantsas No. 9 Park, B&G Oysters, The Butcher Shop, and Sportello, is writing a memoir. She has a deal with Gotham Books, a Penguin imprint, and will write it with novelist-foodie Kate Christensen. Expect it in 2015. We imagine she might talk about her writing plans when she hosts one of her Full Plate lunch series dates featuring lawyer Cheryl Cronin at Menton on June 20. Gotham Books also published the memoir “Girl Walks Into a Bar . . .” by Lexington actress-

comedian Rachel Dratch.
