Tedeschi to join Pops for Fourth concert

The Boston Symphony Orchestra just announced the lineup for this year’s Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. It’s a less flashy list than the lineups of July Fourths past, but all of the artists are from New England. Musicians joining the Pops for this year’s nationally televised affair on the Esplanade will be Susan Tedeschi (of Norwell), Howie Day (of Maine), Ellis Hall (of Tower of Power fame — and Roxbury), and Wrentham’s own Ayla Brown. Last year, the Pops played with Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson. The year before it was Martina McBride, who was filling in for an ailing Lionel Richie.
