BSO has big plans for Tanglewood


The Boston Symphony Orchestra plans to invest $30 million in building and grounds upgrades at its summer home at Tanglewood, according to managing director Mark Volpe. He told the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce this week that the improvements, which would be made over about eight years, will ‘‘enhance the experience of patrons.’’
