The Berklee-bred duo Karmin — Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan — stopped by 103.3 AMP Radio’s studio Thursday, chatting up morning hosts TJ Taormina and Loren Raye. Karmin’s new single, “Acapella,” drops in a few weeks. Pictured at top right (from left): Raye, Heidemann, Taormina, and Noonan.

Former Miss USA Susie Castillo takes it all off in a new ad for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The Methuen native is joined by a few other past winners, including Travis Barker’s ex Shanna Moakler, Shandi Finnessey, and Alyssa Campanella. They want everyone to stop awarding — or accepting — the fur coats that some state pageants offer as prizes to winners.
