‘The Way, Way Back’ on the go on East Coast

The publicity tour for the local movie “The Way, Way Back” continues up and down the East Coast. Stars Jim Rash, Toni Collette, Liam James, and Nat Faxon (at right, from left) screened the dramedy in East Hampton, N.Y., over the weekend. Rash, who wrote and directed the film with Faxon, tweeted Sunday that he was already back in Marshfield visiting the Green Harbor neighborhood where much of the film was shot. He also tweeted a picture of himself in the Globe. Let’s see if he does it again. . . . In other local movie news, Denzel Washington’s “The Equalizer” was expected in Swampscott on Monday, and Robert Downey Jr., in Boston filming “The Judge,” was seen dining over the weekend at Scampo at The Liberty Hotel.
