Author J. Courtney Sullivan’s book tour brought her back to Smith College this week, where she took part in a two-week writing workshop for high school girls. (A Smith alum, Sullivan wrote her well-received first novel, “Commencement,” about four friends at the all-women’s college in Northampton.) Sullivan will be at the Harvard Book Store Wednesday reading from her new novel, “The Engagements.”
