Well, that didn’t last long. Word out of New York is that old friend Frances Rivera, who left WHDH-TV (Channel 7) in 2011 to take a job in New York, will be looking for work soon. A website that tracks radio and TV outlets in the Big Apple reports that Rivera, the “Morning News” co-anchor on WPIX-TV (Channel 11), has accepted a buyout from the station and will be off the air by the end of the month.
