Boston Book Festival celebrates October lineup

The Boston Book Festival had a party Monday night to reveal and celebrate the authors who’ll appear at this year’s event in October. The soiree at the Middlesex Lounge in Cambridge drew Rishi Reddi , whose “Karma and Other Stories” won the 2008 L.L. Winship/PEN New England Award; “The Clover House” author Henriette Lazaridis Power ; Deborah Porter , the director of the Boston Book Festival; and George Harrar , who released “Reunion at Red Paint Bay” earlier this year. Big names on the lineup for the fall festival include Salman Rushdie and horror film maven Wes Craven .
