Robert Downey Jr. is no diva. One of our friends on the set says the actor, who’s been in town shooting “The Judge” with a cast that includes Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga, Vincent D’Onofrio, Billy Bob Thornton, and Dax Shepard, gave gifts to extras in the film. People with children had a choice of “Avengers” or “Iron Man” items, while those without kids got an autographed photo of the actor and a $20 Starbucks gift card. . . . After their fund-raiser for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation the other night, Sox pitcher Jon Lester and his wife, Farrah, continued the fun at Game On. Also making the scene were Bruins forward Shawn Thornton, Sox pitcher John Lackey, Marathon bombings survivor Jeff Bauman, and country music singer David Nail. . . . Word is Dan Aykroyd will make an appearance at the nightclub Machine Sept. 23. Elwood Blues will do a meet-and-greet, perform a tune or two, then hang around to watch the night’s drag show.
